Weekly Photo Challenge: Everyday Life

I started out today wearing a hat to work. And once you wear a hat over wet hair, it’s pretty much a whole-day commitment.

Later, I actually jumped a little when I saw my shadow.  But then I knew I had the challenge photo I needed. This photo really was my day in a nutshell: Go to work for Sis, merchandise Halloween and Fall, get a compliment on my headgear from a 2 year-old (and funny looks from people at the gas station), manage not to slam the pointy top or spider-strewn veil in my truck door, move compost bin to fill with everything that froze in the garden, get the composting worms moved to said bin, watch my boy try to chop down a tree…..and blog. 🙂

  1. LOL the hat thing is true. The problem I have is that I have the anti hat head. That means several things.
    1. I have afro hair so no covering a hat with it wet or not. Next thing you know it will take on a life of it’s own.
    2. I have a five head. What is a five head? It means my forehead is so big they can’t call it that.
    3. I have a big head. I went to race car driving school and they had to give me the second biggest helmet because my head was too big.

So yeah…me and a hat don’t work great together.

    Becca
